LAUNCH & PARK CLOSED TO PUBLIC JULY 1ST THROUGH JULY 5TH
NOTICE TO ALL: To ensure that our rent paying customers have priority parking spaces for the busiest holiday of the year, our launch ramp and parking lot will be closed to launch parking between the hours of 6am and 6pm, July 1st through July 5th, 2021. All vehicle parking will be for those who rent a slip, rent a campsite, or rent a pontoon or paddle-craft. This closure includes those launching kayaks, canoes or paddleboards from their vehicles. No permits will be issued for multi-day parking for lake camping. Absolutely no "lake pick ups" will be allowed (parking here to jump on a boat originating from another marina, house or public ramp). The ramp may be open for night fishermen from 6pm to 6am, but ramp-use will be at the sole discretion of the night attendant during those times. We hope to return to a normal schedule beginning July 6th, 2021. Thank you in advance for your loyalty, patience and understanding.

$25 Entry Fee
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place awards
Rules:
Must pay entry fee and have no fish on board before beginning.
Must have valid Tennessee trout license.
Trout must be weighed in at the marina on the official scale.
Weigh in anytime between 7am and 7pm.
Catch and release encouraged but not required.
Trout must be caught from Watauga Lake between 7am and 7pm.
Multiple participants may fish from the same boat.
